Have had nil issues with it and just love getting away in it. Great service from Joel and Mel who cannot do enough for you and knows their product.

Very happy all round. Ever since we have had repeated issues with brakes, wiring and other features. The reverse camera has never worked.

When they went to fix wiring issue regarding the electro stability control the whole unit was liquid nailed to the floor and they had to make a hole in the floor to remove and repair it. We were sold on the high-end quality of this caravan, but a lot of shortcuts have been made in the manufacturing. On top of this our experience dealing with New Age regarding repairs has been awful.

They are quick to blame wear and tear and the customer for why a caravan just over 12 months old is falling apart. The delivery service was excellent but almost immediately we noticed it had a tendency to sway. This is also the conclusion of Jayco with their dual axle sil Read more. The modern trend in caravan design is to have well appointed, bigger vans with toilet, shower, AC and even a washing machine.

Also heavy duty suspension and tandem axles are popular, with a full roof We purchased our van in from Bairnsdale New Age outlet and they were great to deal with however as we live in Port Stephens we had to use Beresfield for our services. What a nightmare - we had several problems and they accused us of changing things ourselves and were very loathe to fix things.

Took weeks to fix things which turned out to be minor issues. We would not recommend them to anybody as they are only interested in selling vans. New Age need to improve their work during in construction and have better standards and also who they allow to have franchises representing their company. Bought from Newcastle and have been waiting over 5 months to get replacement window blinds as the installed ones stopped working and fell apart even the staff think they are the worst window blinds.

Loan Term: 5 years.Maintaining correct tyre pressures on a caravan is vitally important. The caravan can also become less stable, with less give in the tyre sidewall transferring more road shocks. This will create more opportunity for the tyres to loose contact with the ground and cause instability, leading to caravan sway and all the risks associated with that.

With too little tyre pressure, the sidewalls will have too much flex which will also add to caravan instability. There is a simple way, however, to check that the tyre pressures you are running are right for your van.

The rule is this: for P-rated passenger tyres, there should be a 4psi increase from when a tyre is cold to when it is hot. For LT light truck tyres, there should be a psi increase.

If the pressures increase by less, the cold pressure is too high. If you see a larger increase, then the cold pressure is too low. Most caravans are fitted with light truck tyres but some are passenger rated.

The way to find the rating is to check the sidewalls. Amongst other things, the compliance plate has a recommended cold tyre pressure for that van. You should use that as your starting point, assuming that the tyres fitted to your van correspond with the size and construction noted on the compliance plate. With a good quality tyre pressure gauge, check each tyre on the caravan before a trip. The tyres must be cold; that is, a good couple of hours since the van has been towed.

Inflate or deflate the tyres to match the cold tyre pressure recommended on the compliance plate. When you have found somewhere well clear of the highway to pull over, such as a service station, get out your tyre pressure gauge and see what the tyre pressures have risen to with some heat in them.

If you have less than this, then the cold pressures are too high. If you see an increase of more than 6psi, the cold pressures have been set too low. You should not see a large variation from a psi increase from cold to hot LT tyres, so you can make small adjustments when the tyres have not been rolling for a couple of hours.

If you see only a psi increase, then let out 2psi and check the pressures again after an hour of driving. You should soon have the correct psi increase.

For a minor increase over psi up to psithen add 2psi to the tyres and check them again after another hour or so driving. Unable to display Facebook posts.

How To Correctly Set Your Caravan Tyre Pressure

Find a Dealer Become a Dealer. Welcome to Australia's No. For example, you need to fit larger and heavier components to a single axle van compared to a tandem axle van of the same weight as, on the latter, the load is shared. Ditto brakes: Just about all single-axle off-road vans run 12in electric brakes, whereas many tandem off-roaders run four 10in brakes. As I said, the problem as you get heavier is that you are putting greater load on the individual axles and you need to maintain higher tyre pressures.

Calculate The Correct Tyre Pressure For Your Caravan

For example, my Trakmaster caravan is a 15ft 6in tandem as I wanted to spread the load and run lower tyre pressures. One of the most important safety aspects of towing is having the correct tyres fitted on your caravan and just as important having the tyres inflated to the correct pressure. The simple fact is caravan tyres often get overlooked and are not checked regularly.

On your tow vehicle, there is usually a sticker conveniently located in the door frame or fuel filler cap reminding you of the correct tyre pressure.

Unfortunately this is not always the case with all caravans. You first need to be able to decipher the code on the tyre wall… this is a typical code:. The first part of the number is the tread width, in this case mm wide. The load rating for the tyre can range from 60 to which equates to a maximum load per tyre of between Kgs to Kgs.

Text to spectrogram

The first thing to check is the tyres are rated for the MTPLM of your caravan, so we need to know the load index ratings. From the table above, you will be able to cross reference the load rating code number to the actual maximum permissible load the tyre is rated for. The other bit of information we need to know from the tyre is the Maximum Tyre Inflation Pressure and Load. This is usually located on the side wall below the tyre data in smaller text. Once you have the MTPLM of your caravan and the maximum pressure for your tyre we can now work out the correct tyre pressure.

Take the figure for the maximum pressure for the tyre and divide it by the maximum weight from the table above.

The resulting figure should be the correct inflation pressure for each tyre. Top Tip: As a rule of thumb, the inflation pressure of a hot tyre is usually about 4 PSI higher than when cold. If you check your tyre pressures when hot and it is more than 4 PSI higher, then the cold inflation pressure was too low. If the hot inflation pressure is less than 4 PSI difference than the cold pressure, then the cold pressure was too high.

This article is meant as guidance only. If you have any questions, or are unsure what your tyre pressures should be, your caravan manufacturer or local dealership will be able to advise you fully. Remember any tyre defects that you can be prosecuted for on your towing vehicle, also apply to your caravan tyres when towing your caravan on public roads. Ian said:. March 1, at am. Simon, this is an excellent page of advice regarding tyre pressures.

I think caravan owners are being given poor advice regarding cold tyre pressures in their Handbooks and tables on the web.

Very clear hd videos desi kuwari aubtie

Even the TyreSafe website only gives maximum designed pressures for different tyre sizes and load ratings. I am convinced that because of this poor advice many owners are towing caravans with over inflated tyres. Robert said:. New Age Manta Ray 16 Deluxe

Book an Appointment. Loan Term: 5 years. The Manta Ray makes its intentions as an offroad tourer evident immediately, with impressive clearance, a generous smattering of charcoal checkerplate, and chunky Mickey Thompson MTZ tyres riding on black alloys.

The foundation of the trailer is a 4in DuraGal chassis and drawbar with strengthening strap. A Hitchmaster DO35 drop-on coupling makes hitching up a breeze on any angle, while offering plenty of articulation for offroad work. It is well-matched to Cruisemaster independent coil suspension with dual shock absorbers per wheel.

A large checkerplate storage box rides on the drawbar, ideal for a generator and a compact portable solar panel kit. It is flanked by twin gas cylinders, jerry can holders, substantial handles and a mesh drawbar tray.

Other features include a removable jockey wheel, pin electrical harness, additional Anderson plug for a portable solar panel and a mains water connection. Sliding from the fully-lined tunnel boot is a quality Sovereign stainless steel barbecue with roasting hood, which connects to a gas bayonet nearby. Other external features include a reversing camera, rear bumper bar with spare wheel and an external shower.

The Manta Ray Deluxe uses some of the latest furnishings to create a space not unlike a chic inner city apartment. The hessian-look textured vinyl floor, ash wood formica benchtops and washboard-textured splashbacks work exceptionally well with the interior colour palette of white, grey and charcoal. Space saving is evident in some areas, most notably the kitchen, with the provision of a trendy round sink but no draining area.

Bench space is confined to an area above the fridge and the glass cooktop lid, if not in use. There is no skimping on cooking appliances though, with a four-burner gas stove, mini grill, rangehood, microwave and the external barbecue.

A queen island bed with slatted based is tucked into the nose of the van and surrounded by wardrobes, bedside drawers, tables and more open storage. The impressive styling continues into the ensuite with an above-counter washbasin, flick-mixer tap and washboard-textured splashback. The one-piece fibreglass shower has a 12V exhaust fan with a second unit over the cassette toilet. Most electrical appliances throughout are powered by a single A battery, plumbed to a V 35A multi-stage battery charger, ensuring quick top-ups.

When away from mains power, an 80W roof-mounted solar panel and controller adds some charge when the sun comes out to play. A digital monitor shows the state of charge, instantaneous current draw and the water tank levels. Al-Ko electronic stability control provides an additional safety aid over and above the mandatory breakaway system. Interior lighting is generous, with plenty of LED downlights in addition to the bedside reading lamps and there is a good spread of both 12V and V sockets throughout.

With an ATM at kg, it has an extra kg payload than the average single-axle van and just manages to slip into the popular Toyota Prado towing range although it is, arguably, better suited to larger 4WDs.
